Exabytes – Changes on Email Defense Services

Dear Valued Email Defense Subscribers,

Please be informed that with immediate effect, The service provider who supplies our junk filtering and quarantine reporting has temporarily discontinued the quarantine portion of the service. That means that your inbox will still be protected against spam and viruses but for the time being you will not be able to see junk messages that have been filtered. Our provider has not provided us with a specific date as to when a quarantine service will once again be available but they have indicated that they are measuring in months, not weeks or days.

As you may know, since a poorly executed upgrade to the Email Defense service at the beginning of March, access and reliability of the quarantine has been spotty at best. Our provider has been unhappy with this but has been unable to determine a way to fix the underlying problems with the system. For that reason they've decided it is best to take the service off the market and only bring it back when it is "ready for prime time".

With immediate effect you will no longer be able to access; the web portal and you will no longer receive emailed reports about your quarantine.
