View Drupal in temporary URL

If you install Drupal with temporary URL, you may need to change some setting in order to allow your Drupal work.

Step for Linux (cPanel)
1. Go to folder /sites/default and look for settings file.
2. Find for $base_url and change the record to 'http://IP/~username/folder/'.

Now the Drupal website should work, but on certain links on the website will show some PHP error.

3. Uncomment line of "# RewriteBase /drupal" in .htaccess file and change it to "RewriteBase /~".

Step for Windows (HELM and DotNetPanel).
1. Go to folder /sites/default and look for settings file.
2. Find for $base_url and change the record to 'http://domain.tmp.domain.com/folder/'.


Now the Drupal website should work, but on certain links on the website will show some PHP error.

3. Uncomment line of "# RewriteBase /drupal" in .htaccess file and change it to "
RewriteBase /~".
